"If you want to be reminded of the love of the Lord, just watch the sunrise." Truer words and all that! The beauty of the sun rising to cast its orangey-red glow, the splendour of this moment when mother Earth opens her eyes to us. It is breath-taking!


WHICH COUNTRY HAS FIRST SUNRISE IN THE WORLD?

According to the time standards and Greenwich which is the royal Observatory situated in London observed that New Zealand is the only one country in the world where sun rises first. It is the easternmost country in the world and comes first in the range of light to start a new day. East Cape in North Island in New Zealand is the Easter most place which take the sun rises first in the world. It’s a beautiful beach point which gives a beautiful sun view to watch. Mount Hikurangi in North Island is one of the highest mountain which has the title of striking the first sunrise in the world due to its height and location which is near to the East Cape. There are many other eastern places which may sometime receive the first place to see sunrise than Mount Hikurangi because earth is rotating all the time. But Department of conservation in New Zealand proved and admitted that it is the only country where sun rises first in the world. In the New Year day it remain the best place to visit.

 
WHY JAPAN IS CALLED THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN?

Ancient, China developed all of the hallmarks of advanced civilization, including written language, advanced cities, specialized labor and bronze technology, as much as 2000 years before Japan. As a result, China, and its culture, had an enormously large influence on the younger culture, sharing its philosophies, political structures, architecture, Buddhism, clothing styles and even its written language. In fact, the earliest known written account of Japan was found in a Chinese book.

With such a powerful influence, it stands to reason that, when Japan was described early in its development, it was from a Chinese perspective. And when the Chinese looked east to Japan, they looked in the direction of the dawn.

WHERE THE SUN RISES FIRST IN INDIA?

In 1999, it was discovered that Dong in Arunachal Pradesh, which also happens to be the easternmost place in India, experiences the first sunrise of the country. Ever since that, visitors have been flocking the state and covering an 8 kilometer trek only to see the sun rise from behind the mountains.
